Sorry...

Well... I'd say it been quite a while since I updated... Don't ya think???? Well, Kylan is almost 10 1/2 months old!! It's so crazy!! Kylan got his 7th tooth last night!!! I didn't notice till I picked up his bib that he had been gnawing on and saw a little blood. Funny how terrifying and exciting that can be.... He now has 4 on bottom and 3 on top. His other top tooth is VERY close and I can see a bottom tooth coming in :D He is also working on walking!! He will take 2-4 steps on his won then fall on his hands. Today he walked around the house with me while only holding one hand!! Kylans first word was Dada (A word that we tried to get him to say. he was saying Baba long before that..) And now he's finally saying Mama and Mom! So he's got 5 baby words down; Mama, dada, baba, yaya and... BOB! Yeah, My baby says bob... all the time! A few months back we got Kylan a Super Yard. It's just a big round gate that he can play in while I get the house clean and what not. I LOVE it! I cannot tell you how crazy I would be if I didn't have my gate!! Although it's starting to look like we may have to put it away in a month or two. He climbs it now!! I know this post is a little scatter-brained... What do you expect from me?!?! Sheesh. Well, another subject change, James and I (mostly 'I') have been working on the house. We used to sleep in the basement, which is one big room, But have now moved upstairs, across the hall from Kylan. Before we did the move, I was sleeping on a blow-up bed in Kylan's room. It was a little scary being that far away (basement) from my Bug. So The room, which had formerly been taken over by dog pee and 3 cats, has been re-carpeted, had every surface painted and will Have a new sliding glass door in a few months. That room had been where we had our guest bed, all of our junk and exercise equipment and now it is all down stairs. Now I just need to finish organizing the basement and move the elliptical machine down here.... I think that will be the one thing I'll make James do! I cannot wait for spring so we can go play outside with Kylan and I can fix up the yard. We've got a built in sand box that has become the neighborhood kitty litter box... I'll need to remember to rent a HazMat suit when I shovel all that crap away.... Well, Kylan Bear just woke up from his nap, so I must be off! Hope you enjoyed!!

Kylan James Cramer

So... It's been a while, eh? We had Kylan James Friday, March 13th. We went in to find out if he was breech still (heads up) If he was, they were going to try to do another version and if the version didnt work out, they had a c-section all ready to go. If the version did work, they were going to induce me. I received a call saying to get there at 2 on Thursday, even though I was told 3 before hand. We got there at 2 and they told us we were early.. Oh.. I don't thin kI mentioned the BEST part.. I was told not to eat ANYTHING after 6 AM in case I needed a c-section. I went almost 29 hours without eating... Anyways, so I got on the bed, and wouldn't ya know it, in the hour we were waiting at the hospital, he flipped! Yay! No c-section needed! They gave me a cervix softener, which did nothing... So they started Pitocin to start labor going. after about 5 hours, they broke my water, and boy, oh boy... there was a LOT of water. Gross, sorry. I got an epidural and went all night in pain. It didn't work very well... I wish I would have been as lucky as all the other women who can sleep after they have and epi.. Every body is different though. So around 8 or 9 (?) My doctor came in and said I was ready to go!! 17 hour labor total, 12 hours from when my water was broken, and 2 hours of pushing. 10:54 AM We had Kylan James. 6 lb 11 oz, 20 in. He has silver/brown hair. It really is silver! James and I are happy to finally have our little boy here! (And I'm happy to not be pregnant anymore!!!) Kylan was a bit Jaundice for his first week. Many doc visits and heel pokes :( He is all better now though! I will post more about him when I get the chance :)

2/28

So here we are... 19 days before he's due. I found out yesterday that he's sitting breech (for those of you who don't know, this mean his head is up.. this is bad. It needs to be down.) So we went to the hospital yesterday to have whats called a 'version' done.... A note for those of you who are interested... THIS IS PAINFUL. They give you a shot to relax your muscles, which makes you shake like freaking crazy, put a bunch of goop on your stomach and literally push him and turn him around. This is one of the most painful things I have EVER done. We monitored him for about an hour afterwards to make sure his heartbeat and everything is ok, checking his heartbeat, making it peak, and most of all, making sure his head is down. So everything was fine, we left and a few hours later, wouldn't ya know it, the little punk flipped right back to being heads up.... Ugh! After all that pain.. That means there is still room for him to flip back down, but with the due date drawing nearer and nearer, the room is also getting smaller and smaller... So if he flips soon, good. If not, We will most likely be c-section.. I really hope not. Just hope he flips... Well, That's about all I have for now! I will post pics in a day or two :)

Last post

Sorry, I was in a rush to get going yesterday and thought I should post some pics at least! So... Allow me to explain them to you. The one with me in the green was taken 2/3/2009 when I was 33 w 5d. The one in the black was taken yesterday 34w 4d. And the room pictures are Kylan's nursery! They used to be that horrible blue crap.. what ever it is. on every single wall.. it was horrible. So we plan on having a chair rail and painting that dark brown, along with the floor board, with the cream on top and the green below :) We took in the monkey wall decals and matched the colors. Things are moving a LOT slower than I had hoped, but that's ok, as long as it gets done before he gets here! We have done a bit more work since these pics were taken. Also, invites were sent out yesterday! Yay :) They are so cute. I'll attach a picture. If you didn't give me your address, send me an email and I'll send you details on when and where. hotpinkviolin@hotmail.com Things are going well with Kylan, He is head down and ready to go.. If only I were. I'm soo terrified! Ugh. But what can you do? We had one of our birthing classes on Saturday. It was fun :) I almost had to leave the room when they were talking about the epidurals... Oh lordy... EW! Nothing really new has happened. last I weighed my self I was 151. that's 31 lbs total. Eh. Doesn't bother me :) well, hope you enjoyed the pics! Oh, this one is of the colors we used in his room. They arent true to life...

1/27

We have finished moving!!!! Yay! I'm so sick of seeing that stupid old house. I would much rather be at my home :) Anyways. So I'm now 32 weeks, 5 days. Our last appointment went well. We have been asking a lot of questions about our little boys first 'procedure'. We've heard a few horror stories and just want to be sure that we can trust the person. Our birthing classes are on Feb 7th & 14th. We're excited for them :) I dont think I have much to update about... Just getting bigger and bigger! So here are a few pics :) The second pic is of the cutest diapers I've ever seen!! Big monkey fan.. They were given to my friend Allyse at her shower and I just had to take a pic! The last pic is kind of hard to tell, but we got to park in the 'Expectant Mother' parkingat Harmons! We were so proud of Kylan :P
